Cranberry Apple Crisp
Ready in 1.5 hours
Makes 8x8 pan
Ingredients
Bottom Layer:
- 5 apples, spiralized or sliced
- 28g Cranberry Crystals (~ 1oz)
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 3 pinches cardamom
- 2 small plums, cut up
Top Layer:
- ¾ cup flour blend of choice
- ⅓ cup coconut sugar
- ¼ teaspoon pink salt
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup cold vegan butter
Preparation
- Core and slice (or spiralize) apples.
- Mix with Cranberry Crystals, maple syrup, cardamom, and plums.
- In a bowl, or a stand-up mixer, mix together the flour, coconut sugar, salt and oats.
- Add cold cubed butter to the mixture and mix until incorporated.
- Put the apple mixture into a 8x8 baking dish and crumble the dough over the top.
- Bake at 320 degrees F for 55 min.
